❝ When it came out that Brad Pitt was divorcing Jennifer Aniston for Angelina Jolie EVERY woman in the world wanted to hate Pitt. Yet, he handled his business and didn’t talk about the reasons. Shortly after women weren’t holding a grudge and couldn’t even remember not loving him (absolutely amazing!). Why? Because he didn’t call an hour long live TV spectacular to dump Jen for a hotter woman. After tonight no one will ever forget to hate LeBron. ❞

Bill Simmons: The All-LeBron sound-off - ESPN

“Never give up. Dreams are made in a moment.”

Sometimes in the US I feel like we dwell on the imperfections of soccer: the diving, the referee blunders, etc. .  Today’s match however perfectly summated the beauty of the game, 90+ minutes of complete frustration relieved in a moment of pure bliss.  Its these moments that become the addiction, its what you chase, its why you watch.

It isn’t always so thrilling, but when it is it is magic.

The true reason I purchased an iPad finally surfaces.  Honestly, If I owned a game company I would have a hard time doing anything other than board game conversions, I love them so much.
I really wish it had some form of multiplayer though.  Reading the blurb on the beta site leads me to believe it will still be a single player only game like its iPhone precursor.  This type of game is perfectly matched to the iPad form factor.

We’re nearing the series finale of Lost, so I thought I’d share this little bit of fan art I made. Presenting Pixel Lost, 8-bit versions of some of my favorite characters from the show.
Since you are now inevitably crying “but where is Libby!” I’m also offering the original Pixel Lost PSD. Add your own characters, put them in screenshots, make icons from them. It’s your destiny!

Bill Mahr is on point about this.  Its easy to be a proponent of something when you never have to live with the consequences.

Confirmed as 100% correct.
