Toronado
Went to the new bar in town with Jeff last night. Toronado in North Park, its location works perfectly for a beer bar. Its on the same block as Sicilian Thing pizzeria so doing the whole pizza + beer thing is really easy. Toranado has 50 taps, 7 kinds of sausage, and a bathroom with no sink it really is an amazing place.
It got me thinking though wouldn’t it be amazing if you could take a place like Toronado and add a place like the Wine Vault to it. You would have an amazing beer + wine super bar. Keep half the place strictly beer with sausages and Belgian fries. Keep the other half wine bar atmosphere with bistro food, and a kind of demilitarized zone between them. I would go there.
