Sometimes in the US I feel like we dwell on the imperfections of soccer: the diving, the referee blunders, etc. . Today’s match however perfectly summated the beauty of the game, 90+ minutes of complete frustration relieved in a moment of pure bliss. Its these moments that become the addiction, its what you chase, its why you watch.
It isn’t always so thrilling, but when it is it is magic.
